Payment Methods, Cancellation Policy, Pre-Authorization and City Tax

How can I pay?

Cash, up to the limit established by law.

Accepted credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Debit card / Maestro.

Bank transfer: the bank transfer credit must arrive before your departure date. In case of payment by bank transfer, please inquire at the Reception: the transfer of the amount must be made at the beginning of your stay. Any extra fee must be paid on departure, by one of the other accepted payment methods.

Do you need an invoice?

Please let us know while booking if you need an invoice and send us the tax-relevant data, so that we can enter it immediately.

Cancellation policy:

Within 15 days before arrival: Free cancellation

From 14 days before arrival or no-show: the 30% of the total amount will be charged as penalty.

By “Non Refundable” rates, we require the immediate payment of the full booking amount. No refunds in case of cancellations, changes or no show.

In case of early departure, the cost of 3 overnight stays will be charged, according to international regulations.

In case of No Show, the deposit will be kept.

What is a pre-authorization?

A pre-authorization is a temporary hold of a specific amount on a credit card, which doesn’t generate any kind of movement on the bank account and therefore doesn’t represent a burden.

What happens on departure? Generally the guest pays the total amount of the stay directly on departure, as agreed. After payment, the pre-authorization will be canceled by the Reception staff.

Can the cancellation be done automatically? Yes, since the pre-authorization is valid for a maximum of 30 days.

When can the blocked sum be used again? It is usually available again after 72 hours from the moment of cancellation.

For pre-authorizations on prepaid credit cards, the cancellation of the pre-authorized amount will not be automatic. We recommend you to inform the bank about the cancellation operation performed by the hotel. In this way, the re-credit of the blocked amount can be speeded up.

Our advice: we suggest you to request the closure of the pre-authorization at the time of payment, so that the temporary block of the amount becomes a final settlement. In this way later misunderstandings or waiting times for the cancellation of the pre-authorization are avoided.

Are taxes included in the price?

VAT is already included in the price.

The tourist tax of the Municipality of Cervia, which has been introduced in 2018, must be paid directly at the hotel and is not included in our rates.

Euro 1.50 per person per day (for a maximum of 7 consecutive nights) from May 1st to September 30th

Children under 14 years are exempt.

For those arriving early or wishing to leave later in the day, we have a baggage storage room available. Late check-out possible on request (extra).

Is there anyone at the Reception if I were to arrive late?

The Hotel is always open 24/7. Should the entry door be closed, please just ring the bell, there is always someone to welcome you.

What are the meal times?

Breakfast: from 7:30 am to 10:00 am

Lunch: from 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm (restaurant room entry times)

Dinner: from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm (restaurant room entry times)

 

Rooms

What is the difference between the rooms?

  • Classic room: bright rooms, equipped with every comfort
  • Superior room: modern rooms, colors and materials recall our salt pans
  • Deluxe room: design furnished rooms, with a 4 * standard 4 sqm bathroom
  • Junior Suite: ideal for families with two separate sleeping areas

Is there air conditioning/heating in the room?

All our rooms are equipped with air conditioning/heating, which can be regulated autonomously.

Do the rooms have a carpeted floor?

No, our rooms have wooden and ceramic floors.

Are the rooms accessible for disabled people?

All floors and common areas of the Hotel are reachable by lift. We also have wheelchair accessible rooms available. We recommend you to inform us during booking, so that we may find the best solution, according to your needs.

Are there any non-smoking rooms?

All our rooms are non-smoking rooms. Smoking is only allowed on the balcony.

Do you have special food for babies?

For our little guests we prepare every day meat or vegetable soups, vegetable broths and much more: please, just ask!

If you want to bring your favorite cream, pasta or baby food directly from home, no problem, our kitchen team is happy to prepare it for your child.

Is there a children’ entertainment?

We organize soft entertainment activities designed for children. (the animation service is active from mid-june until the first week of september)

The animation activity, is for children from 4 years to 12 years, will take place from 14.00 to 18.00 and from 20.00 to 22.00 six days a week, with a structured program of recreational, creative and educational activities, organized by our MIMA POPPINS.

Celiac disease and allergens

Gluten-free products are always available, we are happy to prepare special gluten-free dishes for you. We strongly recommend you to let us know your special requests before your arrival.

Can I bring my animal to Majestic Hotel?

Despite being great animal lovers, we decided a few years ago to not accept animals in our facilities.

Is there a Wi-Fi connection?

The connection is free and accessible throughout the hotel. Wi-Fi is also free on the beach, for more information, please ask the team at the beach resort.

Parking Area

According to availability we have 2 parking options:

  • The first parking is inside the gates of our facilities (recommended for small cars), which you can use whenever you want.
  • The second parking lot is located at XXII Traversa on the pinewood side and is about 1 km from our Hotel ( 3 minutes by car and 15 minutes on foot). You will leave the keys at our reception and your car will be taken care of by our driver without worrying about anything. We recommend this second choise to guests who want to experience their vacation without the thought of traffic and in a green way.

In case you will need to use your car during your stay we ask you to inform us the day before so we can arrange the transfer with our  driver.

We remind you that both parking lots are outdoor and unattended.

Is there a gym in the Hotel?

Our guests can access for free the nearby FBI gym from 9:00 am to 07:00 pm. For more information please contact our Reception.

Is there a laundry service available?

The internal laundry service is available every day for a fee. An external dry cleaning is also available at an additional cost.

 

Beach and pool

Is there a private beach? How do I get an umbrella and sunbeds?

Solemare Hotel / Majestic Hotel has its own private beach, the “Peperittima Beach Club”, which is right in front of the hotel.

Contact the team at the Peperittima Beach Club or book one of our All Inclusive vacation packages.

How deep is the swimming pool? Can it be used even in case of bad weather conditions?

The pool is located in the courtyard of the Majestic Hotel and can be used by guests of both facilities. It has a large solarium with sun loungers. It can also be used in case of bad weather conditions, thanks to a telescopic structure that covers the pool completely but lets the sun still shine in.

The pool is divided into two pools, the large one has a depth of 1.45 m and the small one has a depth of 0.70 m. In case of bad weather, only the 1.45 m deep pool is accessible. The water is heated to have an average temperature of 25 ° C. Swim cap required.

 
 

Hotel and surroundings

Where is the nearest train station?

The nearest train station is “Cervia-Milano Marittima” which can be reached in about 25 minute on foot or 10 minutes by taxi. Bigger train stations nearby (25 km): Cesena, Forlì, Rimini and Ravenna.

How far is the Hotel from the city centre?

The center of Milano Marittima is just 1 km away and can be easily reached with a 15 minutes walk. Within 200m you’ll find a kiosk, a pharmacy, a minimarket and lots of bars and restaurants.

What is the difference between Hotel Solemare and Hotel Majestic?

Solemare Hotel and Majestic Hotel represent a single unit, they offer the same services and are only separated by an internal garden. Majestic Hotel is located on the seafront, Solemare Hotel is in second row facing the sea, just a few steps from the beach.

All common areas, such as lobby, bar, pool and garden can be used by all our guests.
